Invite helpers to hand over your orders
Invite the people who hand orders over for you. They scan pickup codes at the points you choose, and see nothing else of your studio.

Someone else at the counter
Pickup helpers are for the people who hand orders over for you: the friend who runs your market stall on Saturday, family at the counter on a busy morning, or the café down the road where customers collect your orders. Each helper signs in on their own phone, scans customers’ pickup codes and marks orders picked up. They see nothing else of your studio.
Switch on “Pickup helpers”
“Pickup helpers” is an add-on. Open “Settings” → “Add-ons”, and under “Add-ons you can switch on”, switch it on. “Pickup helpers” then appears in “Settings”, under “Pickup and contact”. You don’t need more than one pickup point: a shop with one can have helpers too. You can switch it off the same way at any time. Your helpers stay on your list, and they can scan again once you switch it back on.
Invite a helper
In “Settings” → “Pickup helpers”, tap “Invite a helper”. Give their name and email, then, under “Where they hand orders over”, tick the pickup points they look after. With one pickup point, it’s ticked for you. Tap “Send invitation”, and the email goes at once. The name you give is the one your orders show when they hand one over. A shop can have up to 20 helpers.
Your helper accepts by email
Your helper gets an email from TwistDrops with your shop’s name in its subject, and their reply reaches you. Its “Accept the invitation” button works for seven days. It opens a page that names your shop and where they hand orders over. A new helper chooses a password there, then taps the button that joins your shop. The scanner opens, ready for their first customer.
Where each invitation stands
Each helper has a card with their name, email and pickup points, and a label: “Joined”, “Invited” with the day it went, “Invitation expired” or “Invitation not sent”. Until they join, “Send again” sends a new link that works for another seven days, and the old one stops working. In “Settings”, the “Pickup helpers” row counts who has joined and who is still invited.
What a helper sees
Your helper signs in on TwistDrops with their email and password, in their phone’s browser: there’s no app to install. They land on the scanner, which shows how many of today’s orders at their points are picked up. A scanned code shows the customer’s name and phone number, what they reserved and the total. They never see the customer’s email or address, or your note. “Account” has their points, “Change password” and “Sign out”.
Hand orders over, and see who did
Your helper scans a customer’s pickup code, taps “Type a number”, or finds the customer with “Find by name”. They tap “Mark picked up” for an order collected at their points, and your customer gets the same email as when you do it. For an order collected at another point, the scanner tells them where to send the customer instead. On the order’s page in your studio, “Picked up” then says who handed it over: the name you gave them, or you.
One shop per account
An account is one shop’s owner or one shop’s helper, never both. You can’t invite an email that has a shop of its own on TwistDrops, or one that already helps at another shop: ask the person for another email. You don’t need to invite yourself: you hand orders over with the scanner in your own studio. Someone you’ve removed is an ordinary account again, and can open a shop of their own.
Change or remove a helper
“Edit” changes a helper’s name or their pickup points. Once they’ve joined, their email is how they sign in, so it stays: to use another one, remove them and invite the new address. “Remove” asks first. From their next tap, they can’t scan or hand orders over, and their account stays, so you can invite them again. If you change where your orders are collected, edit your helpers so they have the new pickup point.
