Handle orders from reservation to pickup

What happens to a reservation from the moment it lands to the moment it’s picked up, and where your customers come in.

  1. Reservations land as pending

Each reservation arrives in “Orders” as “Pending”, and its products come off your stock at once. You get an email for each one, and “Home” lists what waits for you under “To do”.

  2. Confirm one or many

Open an order and tap “Confirm order”: your customer gets an email with the pickup address and how to pay. For many at once, tick them (“Select” on a phone), then tap “Change status”. You can add a message to the email.

  3. Know what to make

“Production” adds up the drop’s orders by product, with how many are wanted sliced or how spicy, and the notes customers left. Count every order, or only the confirmed ones. “Download PDF” gives you both lists to print: what to make, then the pickup list of confirmed orders, each with a box to tick.

  4. Hand orders over

Customers come to your pickup point and pay you there. Tap “Picked up” on each order, or change a whole list at once. TwistDrops can then email them for a review, and you can ask by hand with “Ask for a review”.

  5. Orders you take yourself

“New order” adds a reservation taken by phone or at the counter: choose the drop, the customer and the products. It takes from the same stock and joins the same production as the rest. Save it as “Confirmed”, and your customer gets the confirmation with their pickup code, if they have an email. “Note for you” keeps a note only you see on any order.

  6. Your customers and their reviews

Everyone who reserves joins “Customers”, with their orders and how to reach them. Add a regular yourself with “New customer”, and export the list as a CSV. Their reviews land in “Reviews”, where you can reply: your reply shows under the review on your storefront.
